Carlyle Race May 28th Canceled

by on May.27, 2011, under SCRC News

Hello Everyone….

After a week of hard work by the Carlyle track club and hours of pumping off their track they have to cancel the races tomorrow. Yesterday afternoon the track was drying out very well but now after an entire night of rain things went bad quickly and no racing will be possible Saturday or even Sunday.

Please watch for a rescheduled race date in the near future, the Carlyle club wants to have 2 races this years still.

Please spread the word to those you know where planning to attend the race.

Track is Ready for 2011

by on May.13, 2011, under TracksideMX News

Hello all members, racers and new friends of TracksideMX. We are happy to announce that the changes to the track have been completed and the flow and new obstacles are great! We made changes to offer some new jumps, deal with water runoff and retention and as well to make it safer during race days. Memberships, day passes and regional memberships are now available at XS-iV downtown Estevan.

With the changes to the track comes a few new rocks working their way to the surface. When you go to ride we ask that all riders walk the track, especially the new sections, and pick rocks for even 15 minutes. Please pile them neatly at the track edge as we do not want to damage the lawn mower when we cut the grass.

Hope everyone enjoys the track and feedback is appreciated. Thanks to KRG and CSC Ltd for the use of their heavy equipment during the construction and changes. Without their time and efforts this would not have been possible.

Ride Safe
Chris
